Renting from us is meant to be simple: pick the equipment, pick the hours, pay online or at the counter, and go to work. This page covers what to expect before, during and after a rental. The details live in our Rental Policy, Damage Waiver & Deposits and Delivery & Pickup pages.
Renting in four steps
- Choose equipment and dates. Every product page shows live availability and prices your exact start and end time. Reserve online with 24 hours’ notice, up to 60 days ahead — or call (303) 423-7448 for same-day.
- Check out. Enter your contact details and card, choose pickup at our Wheat Ridge yard or delivery to your site, and sign the rental agreement electronically. Delivery orders ask for your driver’s license here; pickup orders show it at the counter.
- Pick up or take delivery. We stage your unit, hitch trailers to your vehicle, and walk you through the controls. When the rental starts, a refundable deposit hold goes on your card.
- Return. Bring it back fueled and clean during business hours, or have it ready for our driver. We inspect, close the rental, release the hold and email your invoice.
What you need
- A valid driver’s license or government ID (18+).
- A credit or debit card in your name. Credit cards are better for long rentals because the deposit hold does not tie up your bank balance.
- For trailers, the vehicle you will tow with, so we can hitch it and check the ball, plug, lights and brakes.
- For skid steers, excavators and other machines: experience operating that class of equipment.
How rates work
Rates are listed per hour, per day, per week and per 4-week period. Every product page shows the minimum rental period for that item, which is how a half-day aerator or trencher rental stays affordable. The booking calendar prices your exact dates and applies the lowest tier that fits — you will not pay more for two days than the week rate, for example. Sales tax (8% in Wheat Ridge) and the 13% damage waiver are added at checkout. Delivery, if you want it, is $50 plus $3.50 per mile each way.
Questions we hear most
Do you rent to homeowners or only contractors?
Both. Homeowners and landlords rent alongside landscapers, remodelers, fence and concrete contractors, property managers and municipal crews, and everyone gets the same equipment and the same walkthrough.
Can I reserve equipment for the same day?
Online reservations need 24 hours’ notice. For same-day, call (303) 423-7448 or come to the yard — if it is available, it is yours.
What is the damage waiver?
A 13% fee on every online rental that limits what you owe if the equipment is accidentally damaged during proper use. It does not cover theft, misuse, tires, consumables or damage to anything other than our equipment. Details are on the Damage Waiver & Deposits page.
Why is there a hold on my card?
When the rental starts we place a refundable security deposit hold equal to the rental total. It is released after the equipment is returned and inspected; your bank may take a few business days to show it.
What if the equipment breaks down?
Stop using it and call us. We will repair it or swap it as fast as we can, and credit rental time for confirmed mechanical failures that were not caused by misuse.
Do I need insurance?
No proof of insurance is required. Businesses with an equipment floater can ask about renting on account without the waiver.
Is fuel included?
Everything leaves fueled. Gasoline-powered equipment carries no fuel charge — we top it off ourselves between rentals. Our diesel machines (tow-behind air compressors, Dingos, skid steers, mini excavators) go out full and should come back full; diesel used and not replaced is charged at return.
Can someone else pick up for me?
Yes, if you tell us in advance and they bring their own ID. For business accounts, list the employees authorized to pick up.
Do you deliver? How much is it?
Yes, across the Denver metro. Each trip is $50 plus $3.50 per mile from our Wheat Ridge yard, and drop-off and pickup are charged separately — so a site 10 miles out is $85 each way, $170 for the round trip. See Delivery & Pickup.
What if I need to cancel?
Call (303) 423-7448 any time before your start time. There is no cancellation fee, and we do not charge for a missed pickup — we would just rather know so the unit can go to someone else.
Do you charge a cleaning fee?
Only when a unit comes back needing real work — caked mud, cured concrete, paint. It is up to $200 and we discuss it with you at return, never after the fact. Normal job-site dirt is expected.
Can I extend my rental?
Call before your return time and we will extend it if the unit is not reserved by someone else. Extensions are charged at the applicable rate.
What are your hours?
Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. Closed Sunday. Rentals go out and come back any time we are open.
Do you sell propane?
Yes — refills by the gallon or pound at the yard during business hours.
