Crowder Rentals is the equipment and tool rental yard at 11401 W 44th Avenue in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. For decades the west side of Denver knew it as A&J Time Rentals — the place to get a trailer hitched, a stump ground or a sod cutter for the weekend. The name on the sign changed when the business joined the Crowder Supply family; the yard, the crew and the way we work did not.
The Crowder family of companies
Crowder Supply has supplied and serviced tools for mining, construction, demolition and rock drilling from Denver since 1987, and runs its own CNC machine shop and in-house repair center. That background shows up at the rental counter: our mechanics service the rental fleet, worn parts are replaced rather than patched, and when a customer asks which breaker will get through a foot of sandstone, the answer comes from people who sell and rebuild breakers for a living.
What we do
- Rent equipment — skid steers, mini excavators, Toro Dingos, trailers of every kind, landscaping and tree equipment, demolition and concrete tools, scaffolding, power tools, generators, heaters, pumps and pressure washers, floor care and event equipment — by the hour, day, week or 4-week period.
- Deliver across the Denver metro on our own trucks.
- Sell propane, trailer hitches and locks, tie-downs, diamond blades, Schaeffer’s and AMSOIL lubricants and other job-site consumables.
- Support business accounts with on-account billing and monthly statements for contractors, landscapers, property managers and municipalities.
How we work
We hitch every trailer ourselves and check lights and brakes before you leave. Every machine goes out with a full tank and a walkthrough. Online reservations show real availability for real units, so what you book is what is waiting for you. And if something goes wrong on the job, you call the yard and talk to someone who can fix it.
